Hi susi917 and thanks for your valuable feedback :) But you still didn't tell me which theme were you using?
If it's RedWaves lite, well, I've a test and found that the Tweet is displaying correctly on single posts. Here is a screenshot:

You don't need to use any plugins to Embed the tweet, just paste its URL in the post editor ( when Visual is selected ) and the tweet will automatically embed in both the editor and article's page (this feature is called OEmbed and it's provided by WordPress, not our theme. ).

But the tweet will not embed on the Homepage because our theme doesn't support such feature.

Please provide more info and tell me which theme are you using.

Ok, I've found the source of the issue. It seems that the Twitter iframe is conflicting with MDL's JS file ( damn it Google :evil: )
Whenever the material.min.js is loaded, the twitter iframe disappears ( this happens to Twitter widget too ).
The fix is simple, just open header.php file and remove the mdl-js-layout class from the #page DIV.

Removing this class might lead to other issues. If none happens, I will include the fix in the next update.

<div class="hfeed mdl-layout mdl-js-layout mdl-layout--fixed-header">
	<header id="masthead" class="site-header mdl-layout__header" role="banner">

No don't remove the whole Div, just remove the mdl-js-layout word then reload the page.

header.php

You're most welcome :)
I think this thread should be moved to Bug Report forum.
Kind Regards!
