Re: Discrete menus for public and logged-in users/members?

So a logged in user using the default WP login form doesn't make it "logged in" in the eyes of eMember? I thought it's the same. Well, that explains why eMember has its own function to check if the user is logged in. I didn't think to mention earlier that eMember installs/default configuration as a...

Interest in custom post types with custom fields for RedWaves Lite?

I've been a grateful user of RedWaves Lite for "a while now". In the past couple days, I decided to explore some plugins and concepts so that I can use custom post types with custom fields attached to custom post types. The general subject matter for me is music that has several kinds of information...

Re: WP-Custom CSS plugin?

I just mentioned WP-Custom CSS because that's what seemed realistic for modifying CSS without messing with theme.

THANKS for the response.

WP-Custom CSS plugin?

Does anyone know what tool/plugin with FireFox (Windows) to use when trying to figure out what can be entered in the Tips & Tricks WP-Custom CSS plugin? For example, the following removes the author and date/time stamp of posts and pages, but a small "clock" icon remains and can't get rid of it. .en...

Re: Is this forum "plugin" available?

Thanks for the info and suggestions. I know bbPress is a major player. Did NOT know about the maintenance issues! I found something called "WPforo" that LOOKS a lot like what you've done here. Probably will create a couple of throw-away sites just to see how they compare. My user community will like...

Is this forum "plugin" available?

I'd like to have a really nice, clean forum plugin like this one to use with RedWaves-lite.

Is it available?
How much?
Thanks.

Re: Discrete menus for public and logged-in users/members?

It works fine if I use the second fragment.
Apparently it NEEDS to know that the user is logged in to eMember as well as WordPress.
But that is the exact result that I want!

MANY THANKS!

Re: Discrete menus for public and logged-in users/members?

I guess I am confused about how to find (or perhaps DESIGNATE is more specific!) the "menu ID" for logged in users. When I edit the new menu that I want for logged-in-users, it shows ID=278 and the primary/main as ID=35. Sorry to be such a "techno-wuss" (not sure if that is a word, but....!) Thanks....

I will give that a good effort and expect that I can make it work!
